President
Mr. Lewis Wan
With over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Lewis Wan has dedicated his career to transforming illiquid physical assets into tradable financial assets. As the Chairman of the Hong Kong Financial Asset Exchange Group (HKFAEx), which he founded in 2006, Mr. Wan has been a pioneer in creating liquidity and unlocking value in a diverse range of assets, including fine wines, collectibles, intellectual property, and commodities.
Under his leadership, HKFAEx Group has expanded its financial asset trading and management business to embrace the digital future, venturing into areas such as Web3, Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, and stablecoin issuance, with the aim of building a bridge between tangible assets and the emerging digital economy.
Mr. Wan has a distinguished track record in asset management. He managed funds that were among the first in Asia to invest in China's A-shares and Non-Tradable Shares. These funds achieved significant recognition, including being named "Best China Fund" by Asian Investor and a top performing fund by Bloomberg.
His expertise and industry contributions have been widely recognized with numerous accolades. In 2017, he was named a Senior Fellow by the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the institute and the financial services industry.
In addition to his leadership at HKFAEx, Mr. Wan serves as an Independent Director of the Nasdaq-listed Big Tree Cloud. His past roles include serving as Chairman of the Nasdaq-listed Oriental Culture Group (2019-2025) and as a Visiting Professor at the Beijing University of International Business and Economics (2012-2022). He has been a committee member of the HKSI since 2013 and the Vice President of the China Hong Kong International Economic and Trade Cooperation Association since 2008.
Mr. Wan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Accountants in the UK, and a licensed responsible officer of the SFC. His extensive experience and pioneering spirit continue to drive innovation at the intersection of traditional finance and emerging digital asset classes.

Mr. YK Foo is a distinguished technopreneur and visionary in information technology and investment. He brings extensive experience in engineering, invention, and information & communication system architecture, coupled with active roles as an angel investor and venture capitalist.
Mr. Foo held key positions at NCR/AT&T, specializing in IT architecture and network solution development for industries like banking and telecommunications. He co-founded Netrove Partners, an angel venture capital firm, and has been deeply involved in the R&D of low-power biometric smart cards and novel authentication protocols, dedicated to enhancing digital security and user convenience.
Leveraging his profound technical expertise and visionary approach, Mr. Foo continuously drives digital security and technological innovation, providing cutting-edge technology strategy counsel to the Digital Asset team.
Dr. Clifford Choi

Dr. Clifford Choi is a visionary technology leader with extensive experience in blockchain advocacy, venture capital advisory, and network systems administration.
As the former Director of the Bitcoin Association Hong Kong (BAHK), he played a pivotal role in promoting Bitcoin adoption and blockchain technology awareness. With a strong foundation in science and technology, he was an early adopter of Bitcoin's cutting-edge solutions, and his intellectual acuity and strategic foresight significantly enhanced BAHK's valuation.
Dr. Choi possesses deep expertise and influence in the digital asset space, offering crucial guidance and forward-looking insights to the Digital Asset team on blockchain technology application, digital asset strategies, and market expansion.
Mr. Zhou Li Chao

With over twenty years of experience in key divisions of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and provincial financial regulatory bodies, Mr. Zhou Lichao has been instrumental in the institutional design and regulatory framework development of major financial instruments such as Treasury bond futures and commodity futures.
He has developed deep expertise in policy formulation and maintains a well-established industry network within the futures and derivatives sector.
Leveraging his multifaceted background in finance, Mr. Zhou offers high-level strategic counsel on policy interpretation and market trends, playing a pivotal role in shaping the Group's strategic direction and financial advisory capabilities.
Mr. Xu Cai Yuan

Mr. Xu Caiyuan is an accomplished investment and financial specialist with more than three decades of senior management and operational experience across the public sector, state-owned enterprises, and global financial institutions.
He formerly served as President, Morgan Fund Organization (MFO) China, where he spearheaded the structuring and execution of multiple cross-border M&A and investment transactions between Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland China, with a particular focus on asset consolidation and non-performing asset investments.
Renowned for his strategic market acuity and rigorous execution discipline, Mr. Xu is now actively engaged in advancing innovative financial solutions in areas including real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, wealth management, and cross-border finance.
He holds an EMBA from Tsinghua University and provides strategic counsel at the macro level, supported by grounded industry expertise.
Mr. Vincent Lai Ming Wai

Mr. Lai possesses over 35 years of experience in global financial markets and multinational corporate management. He has held top-tier positions, including Chairman and CEO, at listed companies across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. During his 16-year tenure with Bank of America, he worked across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the United States, serving as the bank’s inaugural country head for both Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Currently, he holds the role of Executive Director at Oasis Bio-energy Group, a green energy technology enterprise, and is a co-founder of SquareDog Robotics Limited, an AI-robotics firm. In addition, as chief advisor to several digital finance ventures, he oversees international digital currency deployment, overseas market development, and worldwide fundraising efforts.
Graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Economics & Management, Mr. Lai integrates a global outlook with forward-thinking vision, and is positioned to provide the Digital Asset team with extensive international fin-tech expertise and innovative strategic insights.
Ms. CAO Rui
Vice President | Project Partner | Digital Strategy
Ms. Cao Rui is an experienced digital expert with over ten years of cross-industry experience in top-level digital strategy design and consulting. She has served clients across a wide range of sectors including government, finance, telecommunications, industrial parks, supply chain, etc.
Previously, she worked as a Senior Consultant in the Digital Strategy and Transformation team at IBM Global Business Services. With deep expertise in corporate digital transformation and data asset management, Ms. Cao will provide strategic guidance and execution support for data strategy, data asset planning, management, and operation in relation to RWA initiatives.
She holds a Master’s in Management from EPFL (Switzerland) and an MSc in E-Commerce and Internet Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Lin Yang

Dr. Yang LIN is a Research Officer at the Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong. He holds an internationally recognized legal education and a solid foundation in compliance research, with long-standing expertise in financial technology law, cross-border data governance, and dispute resolution. Combining academic rigor with practical experience, he is well-versed in the regulatory and compliance frameworks of both Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.
Dr. Lin has been deeply involved in major initiatives in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and regional economic cooperation programs, including projects on cross-border data governance and intellectual property protection under the RCEP framework. He has also lectured on fintech law and dispute resolution at universities in Chinese Mainland and abroad.
With systematic legal training and extensive cross-border project experience, Dr. Lin provides the company with robust legal support and a global compliance perspective for the development of Digital Asset and other innovative businesses.
